I am so glad you're here!

My name is Madelyn Abercrombie, I am 23 years old, and I am the main shooter of Madelyn Abercrombie Photography. Growing up, I always loved taking photos, but I never invested time into photography. At 21 years old I finally decided to pick up a camera for fun not knowing where it would lead me! With so much support and love surrounding my decisions, I took a leap of faith and never looked back! Nearly 2 years of doing a photography, I have found a huge love for LOVE!

A little bit about me, I am photographer with a big heart for love stories! I’ve fallen in love with photographing couples — their playful, easygoing energy makes every session a blast. This may be because I'm married to my high school sweetheart, best friend, boy version of me! We have been together for 10 years and we have 2 children -- one is a human and his name is Grant and the other is a black lab named Goose. They are our whole entire world.

My journey hasn’t been a straight line — I started college as a nursing major, but quickly realized that teaching children was where my heart had always been. Photography found me in the most unexpected way: I borrowed a camera from a friend to capture moments at my sorority events, and from there, something just clicked. What started as a small hobby turned into a full-blown passion — and now a business I’m so grateful for every single day.
